Ready to Learn the Hunt?

The hunt is on, and every skilled hunter needs to understand the flow of the chase. In Bounty Board, each turn is a dynamic mix of strategy, action, and opportunity, divided into three distinct phases. We’ll break down these phases step by step, so you’re fully equipped to master the game and claim your bounties.

Draw Phase

The Draw Phase is where every hunter begins their turn. You will draw a card form the top of the Action Deck. If it is an event card the card is played immediately. If it is any other card it is placed in your hand. There is no hand size limit.

There are two types of cards in the Action Deck. You will see Monster Cards and Action cards.

Action Phase

The Action Phase is where strategic decisions come to life! In this phase, hunters can play as many Action Cards as they wish to gain an advantage, disrupt their rivals, or prepare for the hunt ahead. Whether it’s setting traps, securing your cache, or unleashing chaos, the choice is yours.

Event cards that were drawn during game set up or through special occurrences can be played during this time.

Hunt Phase

The Hunt Phase is where preparation meets action! During this phase, hunters can make a single crucial adjustment by swapping either their Tool or Location—but not both. Carefully consider your options; the right combination can mean the difference between an empty cache and a prized monster.

Once you’re confident you have the necessary setup to capture a monster, it’s time to strike! Capturing a monster is the final step of your turn, bringing you one step closer to victory. But beware miscalculations or rival hunters’ interference can throw off your plans.

Monster Cards

Monster cards are your key to victory in Bounty Board, and each one is packed with the information you need to track and capture your prey. Here’s what you’ll find:

  • Name: The name of the monster is boldly displayed, telling you exactly which creature you’re facing.
  • Value: Each monster has a point value, representing the bounty you’ll earn for capturing it. Higher-value monsters are rarer and more challenging to catch.
